Not going to divulge anything too early today as i prefer coming on in about 12 hours time when the press and clubs not sniffing about as a few deals could still be done....
Poch wants a smaller squad so expect more outs.
J-rod and Ms is very fanciful unless DL has had a big change of mind.
I expect at least 1 forward to come in.
Don't get your hopes up people as we have all seen this movie before and know how it ends....

Крайне грустно будет за Льюиса, реально не понимаю зачем его в аренду отдавать, а судя по всему отдадим. Чесговоря пока я как-то не позитивно воспринимаю многое что происходит. Но остается только одно - верить в тренерский талант МП и силу нашего сквода. COYS.

Jonathan Hope, the man brokering a potential move for Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck, tells BBC Radio 5 live that three clubs want the England player - including one in the north-east.
Hope says there is an £18m price tag for Welbeck, while there is a £3m fee if the move is a loan.
"There are two clubs who will meet the fee, the other want him on loan," adds Hope. "You have got to remember Danny is an established striker. He will change any team in the Premier League."

I have been quite privileged the last few months in the fact that I have been privy to quite a lot of info regarding what has been going on be hind the scenes at the club. I have posted pretty much everything I have heard and most of it in as much detail as I could.
Something worth repeating though is...................
Poch is very happy with the squad he has got!
Levy was heavily criticised last Summer for having no coherent transfer plan, so instead this year we set out a list of targets that Poch thinks will improve squad in the positions he thinks need upgrading. With CB we have had a preferential list which we have worked our way through until we have gotten our target because Poch didn't have faith in what we had and the ones at the top of the list became unobtainable for one reason or another. That is a very different situation to the other signings we wanted.
There is no point in just bringing in players that the manager really doesn't fancy, because come January/next summer we will be looking to move them on again, (which is so very difficult) just to get the players that were top of the list as of now. Yes I think if we had pushed earlier we could have got Welbeck, but the fact is Poch wanted J-Rod which is why we dallied over getting Welbeck done on loan. As time moved on it became apparent that the loan option was no longer viable and it would have to be a a full transfer if we were to get him. No way were we going to pay in excess of £15mil for Welbeck, when the manager would STILL want Rodriguez in January.
IMO both deals for the Saints boys were possible, but it would have meant throwing a lot more money at the players than even Poch deemed they were worth(financially speaking). Yes it has been a disappointing end to the window but I will just reiterate Poch is very happy with the squad as is. I am underwhelmed with today but I'd rather wait and get the manager what he wants than another scatter gun approach like we had last summer, and we have addressed quite a few issues this window already. LB, RB, CB and CM have all been in Poch's opinion upgraded and that is the key to what he needs to do his job properly.
He is being backed even if it doesn't look like it from the outside, buying players he didn't want just for the sake of buying them would not be backing him, it would have been exactly the opposite.
And for anyone that puts this down to Levy PR spin, my info comes form sources close to Poch and to the Southampton end of things, not Levy or the club itself.

Tottenham look set to sign free agent Brazilian striker Jonas after he turned down a switch to Benfica in favour of a move to White Hart Lane.

Jonas has been without a club since leaving Valencia at the end of last season, and reports last week said Spurs were keen on signing him.

It’s thought that negotiations over a deal have taken place, and now reports in Portugal say he’s bound for Tottenham after snubbing a last minute move to Benfica.

Record newspaper says the forward is seeking terms of about £25,000-a-week and Spurs are keen to take him on a short-term contract.

The 30-year-old has eight caps for Brazil and scored 10 goals in 20 matches last term.

Телеграф сообщает, насколько я понимаю, об интересе инвестиционной фирмы Cain Hoy Enterprises, Льюис продавать не намерен, но фигурирует цена в 1 млрд.
Как вы считаете насколько это реально и какие может иметь последствия?

Алан Шугар на это сказал следующее.
Любой бизнесмен занимается своим делом ради прибыли. Если кто-нибудь предложит Абрамовичу 3 миллиарда за челси, он продаст через 2.5 секунды.
Но ему никто не предлагает 3 млрда.
Никто не предлагает и 1 млрда за Сперс. Но интерес очевидно есть.
В любом случае Леви будет согласен на такую сделку, где он будет играть решающую роль в дальнейшей судьбе клуба, пока не доведет до конца проект нового стадиона. Он не сможет бросить свое детище на полпути. Он будет консолидировать все возможные ресурсы. Для него это дело всей жизни. Напрасно если кто-то недооценивает, что он еще и фан, йидо до самой смерти. И он упрямый человек. Нефтефунтов у него нет, но инвестировать он умеет.
Его можно считать финансовым гением. В отличие от Абрамовича он не занимается теневыми схемами. Иначе его состояние было бы больше, чем у Березовского и Абрамовича вместе взятых. Он не грабил Россию.
